The Chinese-based company has revealed on its forum that the weakening pound against the dollar led to the change of the pricing structure for the OnePlus 3.
OnePlus had warned customers about the price hike as a result of the political and economic fallout of the Brexit vote.

The prices of the OnePlus 3 is expected to stay the same in other countries.
OnePlus stated in an interview with Tech Radar that it is saddened to confirm this news. The company promised that it would continue to keep monitoring the macroeconomic situation in the UK.
According to Gizmo China, this has also happened before in Russia, wherein many mobile tech manufacturers such as Apple made a price hike after Russia's currency Ruble fell.
Last week, the OnePlus 3 smartphone received the OxygenOS 3.2.0 software update.
