Henan Jianye FC (7-6-4, 25 points) and Chongqing Lifan FC (4-7-6, 18 points) are both coming off embarrassing losses in the previous round. They now face each other at the Zhengzhou Hanghai Stadium on July 16, Saturday, to try and bounce back from their respective ruts as the second half of the 2016 Chinese Super League season continues.

Henan Jianye was demolished by an improved Shanghai SIPG roster, 0-5, which featured the Red Eagles' newest acquisition, Brazilian striker Hulk, at the Shanghai Stadium last Sunday.
Hulk was injured and taken out of the game early, though, at the 21st minute after he scored the opening goal and also his first as an SIPG player, ESPN reported.
Shanghai's other foreign striker, Elkeson, took over from the newcomer, scoring the hosts second goal at the 33rd while Wu Lei, Lu Wenjun, and Jean Evrard Kouassi netted the next three at the 60th, 68th, and 73rd minutes as they walked over manager Jia Xiuquan's side.
Red Devils's central midfielder Li Xiaoming was sent off at the 38th and so Henan had been at a one-man disadvantage since then.
Meanwhile, Chongqing Lifan was crushed by defending champions Guangzhou Evergrande, 1-4, at the Tianhe Stadium also last Sunday, via Sofa Score.
Argentine striker Emanual Gigliotti scored the lone goal for head coach Chang Woe-ryong's squad at the 33rd, canceling the opening goal of Guangzhou forward Alan Carvalho at the fifth minute.
However, the next three goals belonged to the Southern China Tigers at the 45th, 47th, and 76th to rout the visitors, snapping their two-game winning run.
The Red Devils are projected to win a low-scoring match against Chongqing as Xiuquan's boys try to get out of their current rut.
The predicted result is a close 1-0 decision for Henan Jianye.
Henan Jianye starting lineup (5-3-2 formation): Wu; Wang, McGowan, Samardzic, Chen, Lu; Feng, Mirahmetjan, Yin; Ivo, Patiño
Chongqing Lifan starting lineup (4-2-3-1 formation): Deng; Tan, Luo, Sui, Liu; Jung, Ding; Fernandinho, Jael, Xu; Gigliotti
