Alcatel Dawn Smartphone now Available in the US via Boost and Virgin Mobile for only $70

Chinese smartphone maker Alcatel has announced that its latest budget-friendly device - the Alcatel Dawn - is now available in the United States. The smartphone is exclusively available via Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile without any locking contracts for only $70.
The Alcatel Dawn smartphone is the latest addition to the prepaid carrier lineup of affordable Android devices offered by Boost and Virgin Mobile.

Boost Mobile is an Australian and Unites States based company the focuses more on "growing data" plans. The company was founded by Peter Adderton in 2000. On the other hand, Virgin Mobile is a giant telecommunication company based in Sydney, Australia and has more than 73 retail outlets in the region.
The Alcatel Dawn features a 4.5-inch with 854 x 480p pixels resolution display. The device is powered by an unnamed quad-core 1.1GHz processor paired with 1 GB of RAM. It is equipped with a Qualcomm Adreno 304 GPU and has a built-in 8 GB internal memory storage, which can be expanded up to 32 GB via a microSD card.
The Alcatel Dawn is backed by a 1,780 mAh capacity battery and runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box. It sports a 0.3-megapixel front-facing selfie camera coupled with a 5-megapixel main shooter.
The Alcatel Dawn measures a body dimension of 65x132.1x9.9 mm and weighs 141 grams. The device is currently available via Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile for only $70.
