Hebei China Fortune had dropped from its lofty top two porch in the overall standings after losing three straight games in the China top flight competitions. They are currently settled at the fourth spot of the league table, 12 points below league leaders Guangzhou Evergrande and two points behind second-running squad Jiangsu Suning.

The Samba Kings are tied on points with third-placed team Shanghai SIPG but has an inferior goal difference, dropping them to fourth place overall.

Their last loss came last Sunday also at their home ground in Qinhuangdao as Guangzhou R&F FC blanked them, 0-2, extending the visitors winning streak to two games, via Soccerway.

Guangzhou imports Renatinho and Apostolos Giannou provided the goals for the Blue Lions at the 40th and 77th minutes while head coach Li Tie's men could not answer with anything as their own foreign players, Ivorian forward Gervinho and Argentine striker Ezequiel Lavezzi, are still sidelined by separate injuries.

Meanwhile, Beijing Guoan was held to a 0-0 draw by reeling squad Tianjin Teda FC at their home ground of Workers' Stadium last Saturday, as per Xinhuanet.

The tie was actually the sixth unbeaten performance in the last seven assignments of the capital city team since manager Xie Feng replaced former head coach Alberto Zaccheroni in May.

The Imperial Guards are now at the ninth spot of the current China top flight table, only a point below Guangzhou R&F and Tianjin Teda in the standings and eight points above the bottom two relegation area.

The predicted result is a close 2-1 decision for Beijing Guoan.
