RSC Anderlecht striker Stefano Okaka is rumored to be the next big-name European footballer to transfer to the Chinese Super League this season as reports went out that Jiangsu Suning is preparing a €10 million bid for the former Sampdoria goalscorer.
Italian Football Daily reported that the 26-year-old Castiglione del Lago, Italy native could be "following in the footsteps of Italian counterpart Graziano Pellè" on a move to the burgeoning football nation of China this summer as his Belgian Pro League side is set to receive a huge €10 million offer from the cash-rich Nanjing-based club.

The report also said that Okaka will be offered a €4 million to €5 million annual paycheck by the squad, which is quite tempting as it can be the striker's only chance for a huge payday in his career so far.
However, there are speculations that the bid for Okaka was temporarily put on hold by Suning's top officials as the team is said to be looking to find another head coach to replace current manager Choi Yong-soo, who only took over from former boss Dan Petrescu on June 21.
Choi had not met expectations during his first three games with the team, losing to defending champions Guangzhou Evergrande, 0-2, in his debut before pulling off a close 4-3 win over lowly squad Liaoning Whowin in his second game.
The 42-year-old South Korean mentor once more led his squad to a 1-2 loss to bottom-dwellers Shandong Luneng at the Jinan Olympic Sports Center Stadium last Saturday, their second defeat in three games, which may have prompted the team's senior executives to look again elsewhere for a new boss.
Football Channel Asia revealed late last month that aside from Jiangsu Suning, Beijing Guoan is also interested in signing the 6-foot-1 Okaka from the Purple and White this summer.
Okaka appeared in 35 domestic games for Anderlecht last term and had scored 15 goals in the process. He had also played for the Italy national team since 2014, but was not called-up in the recently concluded Euro 2016 tournament.
