Google is Planning to Re-Enter China

(Photo : Reuters) Following the successful launch of the new Apple iPhone model, many in the tech community are expecting Google to show off its upcoming answer within the next couple of days.

Despite their global reach, tech giants like Google, Facebook and Amazon are not available in China. However, Alphabet, Google's parent company, is planning to return to the country.

If reports are true, Google will end its six-year absence in China.

China is known for its strict regulations on content being pushed into the country through the Internet. While many tech analysts are positive that Google may successfully make a comeback, there are still many who believe that it would be very difficult.

Google has reportedly opened an experience center in the southern Chinese metropolis of Shenzhen, Guandong province. No details have been provided about what that center is, and its purpose.

According to Forbes, a relatively high-ranking Chinese government inspector was present was present during a Google event recently. While this is not entirely surprising, many analysts are keen to know the latest developments in the relationship between China and Google.

Google has struggled to establish a foothold in China. In 2010, the tech giant was forced to stop its operations in China after refusing to continue censoring its site.
