The Nanjin Army continued to struggle to register its first ever win of the season after suffering another disappointing 141-122 defeat to Guizhou Senhang in the 20^th round of the Chinese National Basketball League (NBL) on Wednesday.

With the loss, Nanjin remained winless for 20 matches in a row this year. Nanjin currently sits at the bottom last of the 14-club team standings.

On the other hand, Guizhou improved to 11-9 and joined Guangxi, Luoyang, Hebei Xianglan and Hualan, which have the same win-loss record in the fifth to the ninth place of the league's table.

According to Asia-Basket, former Los Angeles D-Fenders forward Brandon Costner, who recently joined the roster of the team Guizhou, finished the match with a double-double production of 28 points and 11 rebounds to lead the team to victory. Costner went 10 for 20 from the field including five three-pointers in just 30 minutes of playing time.

Foreign basketball reinforcement Steven Burtt contributed 13 points for the victors. Domestic players MingHao Li had 17 points while ZhenHu Zhang and ZheNan Zhang combined 30 points for Guizhou, who will be facing Jianghuai in the next round on Friday.

Nanjin's Shun Xuzhou topped all scorers with 42 points while Chen Zhao and Zhenliang Yuan chipped in 20 points and 19 points respectively for the league's worst-performing team this season. Nanjin is set to play Guangxi Rhinos in the 21^st round of the league's regular season.

According to NowGoal, Guizhou entered the final period of the match with a comfortable 29-point lead 97-68. Nanjin staged a 54-44 fourth quarter run, but it was not enough to steal the game.
