The former Brazilian midfielder of the Premier League side Chelsea Ramires has been disciplined by the Chinese Football Association (CFA) for charging towards a match official during a Chinese Super League game last weekend.
Ramires Santos do Nascimento has been slapped with a four-game suspension by the CFA following the untoward incident between the Brazilian national and football referee Zhang Long.

The CFA made the necessary disciplinary action against Ramires after he charged at the game official because he got a red card in their match against Shandong Luneng.
According to the report of Goal, the 29-year-old native of Barra do Pirai was sent off for his part in a post-match fracas. Ramires reacted furiously to the match official's decision, with team-mates having to contain the famous midfielder as he made an effort to run towards the referee.
The CFA has since announced that they will extend his automatic three-match ban by an extra game. Ramires has also been given a RMB 20,000 (approximately USD 2,989.00) fine.
According to Mail Online, Jiangsu Suning will be playing without Ramires against the fourth-ranked Hebei China Fortune, the sixth-ranked Henan Jianya, and the fifth-ranked Shanghai Shenhua.
Jiangsu's defeat means they are now 10 points behind of CSL leaders Guangzhou Evergrande after 17 matches.
