Alcatel Idol 4S smartphone is now available for pre-order in the United States via the company's official website at $349.99 with a virtual reality Google headset, Incipio-designed protective case, JBL headphones, and a 2.5D tempered glass screen protector. Its price will reach up to $399.99 when the handset goes on sale on August 3 with free standard shipping included in their order.

According to The Verge, the Idol 4S was unveiled in February at the 2016 Mobile World Congress event with its VR headset and pre-installed VR content app. It is designed with premium materials and high-end specifications. It has a 5.5-inch quad high-definition AMOLED display. The device features a 16-megapixel camera with an aperture of f/2.0 and a video recording capability of 4K resolution. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chipset and comes with a 3 GB of RAM and a 32 GB of internal storage. It also comes with dual-SIM card slots, a fingerprint scanner on the back, and an SD card.

The Idol 4S was regarded as an award-winning smartphone since it had one of the best smartphone ratings in the year 2015. The device features 3.6-watt JBL-certified speakers that have Wave Audio technology. It is also supported with the company's exclusive Boom Key that provides various experience enhancements with just one push of the Boom Key button.

The Idol 4S is compatible with all GSM wireless providers in North America. It will be available exclusively via its official online store at launch. Chinese-based company Alcatel has also announced financing options for those buyers who want to purchase the device via Affirm financing, making it available for as low as $37 per month.
