The 45-year old actor has been active on the Chinese version of "Laws of the Jungle," a reality show originally popular in South Korea. The show focuses on sending celebrities to remote areas and shows how they attempt to survive on their own.
In the current edition of "Laws of the Jungle" China, Wu and his co-cast-aways were sent to an area in Madagascar where they were tasked to interact with the Sakalava tribe, and learn how to survive in the jungle as the locals do.
However, Wu could have possibly injured himself while filming the show. In the most recent episode of "Laws of the Jungle" China, the actor was seen falling off a cart after he participated in a traditional competition where competitors must race with ox-drawn carts.
Wu and his management are yet to release any statement about his condition.
Fans have expressed concern over the incident on social media. Some fans of the actor particularly showed concern about his previously injured right shoulder.
Wu underwent surgery on his right shoulder due to instability. The actor had to have his shoulder fixed as he could easily dislocate it with certain movements. The cartilages in his left shoulder were reportedly replaced with metal rods which causes him pain with slight weather changes.
