ZTE Zmax Pro Smartphone Now Available on MetroPCs for Only $99 With 6-inch Display and 2GB RAM

Chinese smartphone maker ZTE has announced that its latest budget-friendly device - ZTE Zmax Pro - is now available on wireless telecommunication service, MetroPCs. The smartphone is available for pre-order for the price of $99 (approximately Rs. 6643.54 / CNY 663.07).
The ZTE Zmax Pro smartphone is a 6-inch phablet that features a fingerprint sensor, making it unique for this price range. According to ZTE's CEO Lixin Cheng, high-end devices are already shrinking in the market. Cheng explained that making affordable devices with high specs is the company's mission.

The ZTE Zmax Pro smartphone features a 6-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display screen. The device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor paired with 2 GB of RAM onboard. It comes with a built-in 32 GB internal memory storage, which can be expanded via a dedicated microSD card slot.
The Zmax Pro runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box along with ZTE's customized user interface on top. The device is powered by a 3400 mAh capacity battery, which supports Quick Charging technology.
On the camera side, the Zmax Pro sports a 13-megapixel main shooter and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. The performance of the camera of is not that impressive since it does not take sharp and vivid colors, Engadget reported.
The connectivity options of the device include a USB Type-C charging port, dual-SIM card slots. ZTE reported that the Zmax Pro smartphone would be available sometime in August. Meanwhile, ZTE claims that more than 30 million ZTE devices were sold last year.
