China Mobile, which is currently the largest mobile operator in the world, managed to take the lead once again in the 4G market race, overtaking its two local rivals. The company managed to add around 19 million 4G subscribers last month and now has a total of 428.5 million users, which is larger than the total population of the United States.

Furthermore, China Mobile currently has a total of about 837 million mobile subscribers as it "continues to dominate the mobile industry with a 63 percent market share," according to Research and Markets.

China Unicom, on the other hand, managed to add 4.2 million 4G subscribers in June and now has a total of 2.4 million 4G users, while China Telecom now has around 90 million 4G users.

In China, the number of mobile subscribers has increased to over 1.3 billion and the country currently has the largest broadband subscriber base in the world. Most Chinese users access the Internet using their mobile devices. This year, the country's three mobile network operators plan to focus on the deployment of LTE networks and the monetization of such investments.
