Streaking squad Yanbian Funde FC (7-8-4, 25 points) is scheduled to meet lowly team Shandong Luneng Taishan FC (5-10-5, 20 points) at the Yanji Nationwide Fitness Centre Stadium on Saturday, July 30 for a 2016 Chinese Super League season game.

Yanbian Funde will be looking to extend their current winning run to four games as they face an improved Shandong Luneng side at home.

The team's most recent match was an overpowering 3-1 win over surging team Guangzhou R&F FC also at their home stadium in Yanji last Saturday, via Xinhuanet.

South Korean imports Kim Seung-dae and Yoon Bit-garam led the hosts' attack in the first half, scoring at the 28th and 39th minutes respectively, to give head coach Park Tae-ha's side a 2-0 lead at the break.

Local striker Jin Bo completed Yanbian's three-goal haul with a shot at the 64th coming off a pass from midfielder Li Haojie.

The Blue Lions scored a consolation goal at the 73rd courtesy of midfielder Lu Lin to avoid a shutout.

Meanwhile, Shandong Luneng is coming off a disappointing 0-1 loss to undermanned squad Shanghai Greenland Shenhua FC at their own home field of Jinan Olympic Sports Center Stadium on Sunday, Shanghai Daily reported.

Shenhua team captain Giovanni Moreno provided the lone goal of the contest for the visitors at the 32nd minute to hand Shandong their first loss since Italian striker Graziano Pellè joined the squad.

The loss snapped Taishan Dui's four-game unbeaten run as they remain at the 14th spot of the China top flight table, only two points above the bottom two relegation area with 10 games to go in their current campaign.

The predicted result is a close 2-1 victory for Shandong Luneng.
