The Microsoft Surface series of devices have been well received in almost all the markets they were released. In the Chinese market, some manufacturers are riding on Microsoft's success by releasing replicated versions the Surface devices.
On top of the list is the Vido W10 Elite, a rip-off of the Microsoft Surface 3, which shares almost the same aesthetics, design, and specs. However, it is sold for a fraction of the price of the Surface 3, according to Giz China. What makes the W10 Elite stand out is not its premium specs but its $350 price tag. The device even has an external keyboard that closely resembles that of the Surface 3.

According to Tech Tablet, the Vido W10 Elite has a 10.1-inch IPS display with a 1920 x 1200 resolution. At its heart is an Intel Atom X7 Z87000 processor, with 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage space. The device has a 5-megapixel rear facing camera, and a 2-megapixel front facing sensor. The device is powered by a 7,300mAh battery pack. The W10 Elite also supports USB Type-C and 2.4GHz/5GHz Wi-Fi protocol.
For those who would like to use the W10 Elite with the external keyboard, unfortunately, it is not part of the package and is being sold separately. In terms of accessories and peripherals, the W10 Elite also supports a touch stylus which is being sold separately.
While the device looks pretty interesting on paper, many tech analysts claim that it is a bit pricey. Many are expecting the price of the Vido W10 Elite to be dropped to $250 in the coming weeks.
