The Xiaomi Redmi Pro was unveiled last week, and there are rumors already that it will come with a smaller sibling called the Redmi Pro Mini.
The Redmi Pro Mini version is expected to come with a 5.2-inch OLED touchscreen, whereas the Redmi Pro comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD 1080p OLED display. The smaller version is unlikely to feature the dual camera setup of the Redmi Pro and instead would have a camera with a dual-tone LED flash.

A leaked render suggests that the Redmi Pro Mini will come with a 2.5D curved glass and a fingerprint scanne embedded in the Home button underneath its display. It would also come with 18W charging (9V 2A) and 4,000 mAh battery capacity.
According to Android Pure, the Redmi Pro Mini is likely to sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chipset with a 1.8 GHz octa-core CPU, four Cortex-A72 cores, and four Cortex-A53 cores. The Redmi Pro, on the other hand, comes with a 2.0 GHz MediaTek Helio X20 deca-core or 2.5 GHz Helio X25 deca-core processor with 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM.
The Redmi Pro Mini could come in three variants; one with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage priced at 1,499 CNY ($226), another with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage priced at 1,699 CNY ($256), and a top-of-the-line variant with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage priced at 1,899 CNY($286). Xiaomi has not issued any official statement about the Redmi Pro Mini and readers are advised to take this information with a pinch of salt.
