Huawei has debuted its first smartwatch for children with partners Disney and Marvel. The kids wearable brings unique designs themed around popular cartoon characters such as Frozen, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Captain America.
The Huawei kids smartwatch is not an ordinary watch as it also comes with features like WLAN, GPS, Compass, and an acceleration sensor. It uses Huawei's cloud services, and all data is stored on its cloud server. The smartwatch also comes with a Shake feature, which enables connection between two watches within a 10-meter radius. This will allow two friends to share data by simply shaking hands. Users can also chat and make calls using the wearable.

The kids wearable features a magnetic charging port connected to a dock and an SOS key that immediately send a notification to parents when their kid needs help. Users can also see the number of steps they have taken on the watch.
Huawei said that it used soft materials to develop the smartwatch, making it comfortable and not harmful to the child's sensitive skin. It is also IP 55 rated, which makes it water and dustproof. The smartwatch is priced at 688 Yuan ($103) but
It is unclear when the device would be released. However, customers can place orders for the smartwatch on Vmall.
