OnePlus 3 Sales Halted in Europe as Company Seeks to Replenish Stocks

The OnePlus 3 is the company's fastest-selling device, and its sales in Europe has been way better than expected. This has prompted the Chinese company to temporarily pause the sale of the device in several countries to give the company some time to replenish its inventory.

This is OnePlus' third year in the industry. The company has stopped selling its devices through an invite system, and the response was overwhelming.

OnePlus is temporarily pausing sales of the OnePlus 3 from August to September 12 in the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Hong Kong. This applies to new orders after August 9. Orders before August 9 will not be affected.

According to OnePlus, the company will secure more stock and speed up its production lines to cater to as many customers as possible. An in-stock notification service has been set up to notify people who signed up when the device is back in stock.

The OnePlus 3 comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED panel. The device takes very good pictures in bright light and runs on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the Oxygen OS. The OnePlus 3 boasts of a Snapdragon 820 quad-core SoC with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of fast UFS 2.0 storage, but no microSD card slot is included.

The OnePlus 3 is an affordable Android smartphone which comes with an aluminum unibody. It costs for only 2,670 CNY ($401).
