OPPO has officially launched its "Selfie Expert" F1s smartphone at a press event in Mumbai, India.

The F1s comes with an impressive 16 MP front camera with features such as panorama, filters, and beautification. While there is no LED flash, it features a 1/3.1-inch sensor and f/2.0 aperture. It also has voice and gesture control to automatically snap the selfies.

The OPPO F1s features a 5.5-inch 720p IPS display with 3 GB of RAM, MediaTek MT6750 octa-core Cortex-A53 processor running at 1.5 GHz and a 13 MP rear camera with up to 1080p video capture. It also comes with a plastic design and runs on the Android Lollipop 5.1 with Color OS 3.0. The device also comes with 32 GB of internal storage and microSD card support.

According to Huffington Post, the OPPO F1s sports a faster fingerprint sensor which has customized commands based on which finger the owner uses to unlock the device. The device comes with a non-removable 3,075 mAh Li-Po battery unit.

The OPPO F1s will be available in stores on August 11 for about INR 18,000 ($269). OPPO has been enjoying good sales in India by focusing on offline sales and partnering with Bollywood celebrities. OPPO is currently the fourth largest smartphone company in the world.
