Android 7.0 Nougat Coming to Xiaomi Devices: Tweaked UI, Multi-Window, Vulkan API

Xiaomi has announced that several of its devices will get the new Android in 2017. The latest Google OS Android 7.0 Nougat is making headlines after the company announced that the software would be released soon.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, Xiaomi Mi4, Xiaomi Mi5 and Xiaomi Mi Max will receive the update first. The Chinese company has already released the Android Marshmallow OS to a couple of its devices, and some more will get the update soon.

The upcoming Android Nougat will bring new features, fix bugs and improve overall performance. It is said to feature a tweaked UI with instant control toggles and space-efficient notifications. According to Trusted Reviews, Android Nougat comes with a quick switch and multi-window for excellent multitasking. The new Android operating system will also adopt the Vulkan API support which improves gaming and VR quality.
Google has not provided details about when it would roll out the Android operating system. However, it is expected to be available first on Nexus devices such as the 5X and 6P first. There are also rumors that the new Android OS will be unveiled on a new Nexus smartphone manufactured by HTC this year.
