Prior to its global pre-order release, the Cubot Max was already making waves all over the tech world due to its interesting set of specs. The smartphone sports a massive 6-inch IPS display with 1280 x 720 resolution on a 2.5D glass. At the heart of the smartphone is the MediaTek MT6753A chipset with an octa-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, 3GB of memory, and 32GB of storage space which can be expanded up to 128GB with a MicroSD card.
The Cubot Max sports a 13-megapixel rear facing camera with LED flash and autofocus features. It has a 5-megapixel front facing camera for selfie shots. According to Phones Review, the Cubot Max features a handful of connectivity options like Wi-Fi, HotKnot, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and USB OTG. The phone also supports dual-SIM setups.
Another spec that Cubot is banking on with the Max smartphone is its massive 4100mAh battery pack. The company released a video comparing the battery capacity of the Cubot Max with that of the iPhone 6S Plus, and as expected, the Max beat the iPhone 6S Plus' battery hands down.
