The Chinese tablet industry is currently awash with devices running on the Intel Atom Z8300 processor. Despite this overflow of supply, Chinese manufacturer Teclast recently announced the Teclast Tbook 16 Pro, a new tablet device that packs an Atom Z8300 processor under the hood.
Compared to other tablet devices on the market using the Atom Z8300 processor, the Teclast Tbook 16 Pro is quite expensive at $256. On the other hand, paying extra means customers will get a rather bigger display at 11.6-inch with a 1920 x 1080 resolution and a 10-point digitizer.

The Teclast Tbook 16 Pro has 4GB of memory and 64GB of storage space which can be expanded up to 128GB through TF card slot. Surprisingly, the Tbook 16 Pro does not sport a rear facing camera, only a 2-megapixel front facing one. The tablet has a 3.7V 7200mAh battery pack.
The Teclast Tbook 16 Pro supports dual boot operating system with Android 5.1 Lollipop and 64-bit Microsoft Windows 10. The Intel Atom Z8300 processor is clocked at 1.44GHz with turbo speeds of up to 1.84GHz. While this quad-core processor is quite slow by today's standards, it has an almost next to nothing power requirement, a feature that will greatly increase the battery life of the device.
According to Giz China, the Tbook 16 Pro has an HDMI output port which enables the tablet to be connected to an HDTV. For users who are planning to use the tablet as a laptop, an optional physical keyboard and stylus can be bought separately. The Teclast Tbook 16 Pro also has two USB ports for transferring data and charging purposes.
