Bottom-dwelling team Changchun Yatai FC (4-13-4, 16 points) will square off with streaking squad Yanbian Funde FC (8-8-5, 29 points) at the Development Area Stadium on August 21, Sunday as the 2016 Chinese Super League season enters its final few rounds.

Changchun Yatai had lost six of its last eight matches which dropped them to the cellar of the 16-team China top flight table with only nine games left in the team's campaign this term.

If head coach Lee Jang-soo's side will not pull off a significant winning run in these last few matchdays, then they could be headed to relegation to the China League One next season.

Changchun lost to Jiangsu Suning, 1-2, last Sunday also at their home stadium as the two of the latter's imports scored a goal each in the first half of play, Yahoo Sports reported.

Australian center back Trent Sainsbury buried the opening goal of the contest at the 28th minute while Brazilian winger Alex Teixeira doubled the lead two minutes before the halftime break.

The newly-promoted side is now only nine points behind third-placed team Shanghai SIPG with nine games to go in their current campaign for a shot at a berth in next season's AFC Champions League competitions.

Yanbian is coming off a 1-1 draw with powerhouse squad Shanghai SIPG at the Yanji Nationwide Fitness Centre Stadium last Saturday, as per Soccerway.

The predicted result is a 2-0 victory for Yanbian Funde.
