Chinese tech giant Huawei recently released a teaser poster for the upcoming 2016 IFA event and hinted about the launch of the company's new sub-brand.
The 2016 IFA conference would open in Berlin on Sept. 2. The teaser posted contains a slogan that reads "Defy Expectations," a motto that has helped propel the company to become the world's third largest smartphone manufacturer, according to Phone Arena.

Prior to the release of the teaser poster, the president of Huawei's handset product line Kevin Ho announced that the company would be introducing a new sub-brand at the upcoming IFA conference. Not much was said about this new sub-brand, but Ho promised that it would deliver smartphones in the mid-range market. It is important to note that Huawei already owns the popular Honor sub-brand of devices.
Aside from the launch of the new sub-brand, many tech analysts also expect the Chinese tech company to unveil the highly anticipated Huawei Mate 9. A new phone called Huawei Nova, which is rumored to have been made especially for women, is also expected to be unveiled at the event.
Although Huawei has kept silent about this particular product, many in the tech community believe that the company will also launch its newest smartwatch product at the event.
