Taiwanese authorities have confirmed 47 people are dead while 11 were injured in Taiwan after a passenger plane crashed in Penghu island on Wednesday night, just outside the Magong airport, Taiwan news agency reported.

More than 400 flights have been cancelled in China mid-July, half of them recorded in eastern China airports this week alone due to "air traffic restrictions" that is expected to last until next month.
