Apple Music Continues to Grow; Now Has 13 Million Paying Subscribers

Apple chief executive officer Tim Cook has announced that Apple Music has amassed 13 million paying subscribers. Cook added that Apple's flagship music streaming service has been able to add two million new paying subscribers since February.

Apple Music's launch was headed by rapper and hitmaker Drake. The service was built by the people behind Beats Music service that Apple acquired as a part of its purchase on the music tech firm, Beats Electronics.
