Veracyte Lung Cancer Test can be used to Avoid Some Risky Biopsies; Better Success Rate Than the Conventional Method

A new diagnostic test from the diagnostic center Veracyte can be used to avoid the risky and costly lung cancer biopsies, in a world where millions of people who smoke are eligible, and are living with the potential risk of being diagnosed with the deadly disease. In this method, the cell samples are taken from the windpipe of the smokers with the help of the conventional bronchoscopy procedure and the doctors then analyze the reaction of 23 genes which were exposed to the cigarette toxins.
