The league's second ranked Xinjiang Flying Tigers smashed the 18th ranked Tianjin Gold Lions with a 45-point margin, lopsided 145-100 victory in the 38th round of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) in Urumqi on Friday night.

American professional basketball player Bryce Cotton is said to have left the Austin Spurs of the NBA's Developmental League to sign with Xinjiang Flying Tigers of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) in China.
