The Kansas City Royals gave Taiwan native Chien-Ming Wang his first start of spring training on Saturday against the Texas Rangers. The right-hander threw three innings, contributing two runs on four hits in a 13-6 loss at the Alamodome in San Antonio, TX.

Wei-Yin Chen is hoping for a place in the Miami Marlin's starting rotation, while Chien-Ming Wang is fighting for a spot on the Kansas City Royals' pitching staff and Wei-Chung Wang is taking his chances for a place in the Milwaukee Brewers team.
