China is reportedly set to host two major world badminton events in the next two years as Nanjing was given the privilege to host the 2018 BWF World Championships while the southern city of Nanning was awarded the holding of the 2019 BWF Sudirman Cup.

The 13th China National Winter Games has concluded with a remarkable outdoor ceremony at the Silk Road ski resort in Xinjiang’s capital of Urumqi on Saturday, Jan. 30, which is said to be one of the country’s efforts to drum up interest to the venue in connection to Beijing’s hosting of the 2022 Winter Olympics.
