Chinese Chemical Company Fined Record Amount, Employees Jailed Over Pollution

A court in Eastern China has sentenced several employees of a chemical company including its contractors to jail and imposed a fine of ¥75 million (around $12 million) for illegal disposal of its waste water, as reported by AP.
