Google on Tuesday unveiled its all new PhotoScan app that will quickly create digital copies of old printed photos without a cost.

Google Photos celebrated its first launch anniversary on Sunday, May 6. Since its launch, the service has created more than 1.6 billion collages, animations, and movies from snapshots shared by users. Additionally, Google claims that the service is responsible for creating 2 trillion labels, of which 24 billion are categorized as selfies.

Google just introduced a new feature in its Google Photos app that is designed to compete with Apple's popular iCloud Photo Sharing which is still exclusive to iOS and OS X.

Tech giant Google announced on Tuesday that its popular photo management tool Google Photos will receive an update that will allow users to easily free up storage space on their mobile devices. The search engine giant said that it is incorporating the new feature that will allow users to bulk delete photos on their phone.
