China Breaks Guinness World Records for 'Largest Performing Rock Band'

China's Beijing Contemporary Music Academy broke the world record for being the "Largest Performing Rock Band" after 953 musicians played a show altogether in Tianjin, the Guinness World Records announced on its website on Monday.

Xinhua Dictionary bagged two Guinness World Records for "most popular dictionary" and "best-selling book (regularly updated)." To mark the event, SVP Records Marco Frigatti welcomed Tan Yue and Yu Dianli, President of China Publishing Group Cooperation (CPG) and President of The Commercial Press, Ltd. (CP) respectively, to their London headquarters to present them the certificates of recognition.
