‘Creed’,‘The Good Dinosaur’ Make Pre-Thanksgiving Surprise in US Box Office, 'Hunger Games: Mockingjay 2' Remains Movie to Beat

As expected, Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 stays on top of the box-office a day before Thanksgiving. But what was not expected was for Creed to do so well. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Creed earned an estimate of $7.5 million on Wednesday, Nov. 25, alone. This is expected to reach $40 million in five days, in time for the box-office listing.
