'I Can't Breathe' Protest Gets Support From Georgetown Athletes

Everybody in the United States including Georgetown's Hoyas have joined the "I Can't Breathe" protest against police brutality and racism since the death of unarmed black men like Michael Brown and Eric Garner under the hands of the police.

Several players from the National Basketball Association's (NBA) Cleveland Cavaliers and Brooklyn Nets were seen wearing "I can't breathe" shirts before their game. This was in response to a confrontation between Eric Garner and a New York Police Department officer.

The cities from the West Coast of United States witnessed protests and violent clashes especially in Berkley, California and Seattle as the people continue to react over the no indictment decision of the grand jury regarding the death of Eric Garner, a black man, who was put in a chokehold by a white police officer.
