When Microsoft announced that it is finally shutting down its Nokia division, many people in the tech industry took this as a sign that the company is foregoing all of its hopes of securing a foothold in the mobile industry. However, some analysts believe that the company is up for a rebound and has not yet completely abandoned its efforts.

Microsoft is finally giving Nokia a rest. The company has formally closed down Nokia's smartphone hardware business, sidelining more than 1,850 employees. While Microsoft is yet to officially release a statement about its latest move, some tech analysts consider it the final nail in a coffin that contains Microsoft's mobile dreams.
