Wizards Withhold Max Deal For Bradley Beal: Saving Money For Kevin Durant?

The Washington Wizards are not willing to offer Bradley Beal four-year maximum contract just yet in its desire to land hometown superstar Kevin Durant next season. According to CSN Washington's J.Michael, Beal insist he deserves a max contract but the Wizards want to preserve their cap space for Durant and offered less.

However, the Raptors need to pursue a trade for Phoenix Suns power forward Markieff Morris to fill their need for a starting stretch four. With most NBA teams able to utilize the small-ball scheme with players who can stretch the floor from the power forward position, the Raptors are at a big disadvantage.

Shooting guard Jason Richardson will join Atlanta Hawks while fellow veteran Tayshaun Prince will sign with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Yahoo Sports reported that Richardson, a 13-year-year NBA veteran, will sign a non-guaranteed contract. He visited the Hawks on Friday.
