Semiconductor and telecommunications equipment manufacturer Qualcomm recently launched the company’s newest super-fact charging technology called Quick Charge 4.0. Qualcomm claims that the new technology can charge a regular smartphone battery from zero to 100 percent in just a matter of minutes.

Chinese tech giant Qualcomm has announced that its Quick Charge 3.0 feature, which uses USB Type-C port, is safe. This is the company's response to several complaints about chargers and devices exploding when the USB Type-C port and fast charging feature is in use.
