The 'Umbrella Revolution' has taken Hong Kong by storm over past weeks as thousands of protesters participate in pro-democracy rallies, but according to the Communist China People's Daily, Chinese officials have no plans of conceding to demands for a democracy in Hong Kong, citing that the protests are 'doomed to fail.'
