Racial slurs are fast becoming one of the reasons behind the suspension, if not the expulsion, of university students. Fresh on the heels of the expulsion of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity members of Oklahoma University in March for a racist chant caught on video, it was the turn of a student of the University of South Carolina for a similar reason.

The University of South Carolina campus was rocked on Thursday by a shooting incident that involved only two people. Police said the incident happened in one room and took only a few minutes.
