Hong Kong’s leading network and talent outfit, TVB, reportedly offered a meager amount of $7,000 HKD per month within seven years to its new female talents, particularly that of the Miss Hong Kong 2014 pageant contestants.

It has recently been revealed to the public that the reigning Miss Hong Kong, Veronica Shiu, is the granddaughter of Shiu Wai Ming who is the founder of the multi-million dollar beverage company, Vitasoy.
