Google Chrome Reaches 2 Billion Monthly Users Feat

Tech giant Google has announced that its Chrome Internet browser has reached a new milestone. Google said that Chrome has reached two billion active installs on both desktop and mobile platforms. Chrome was able to achieve this feat 12 years following its release in September 2008.

Now, researchers from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab in cooperation with Harvard developed a system known as Polaris. Researchers from the two prestigious universities claim that the system is capable of decreasing webpage loading times by as much as 34 percent.
