Chinese tech giant Tencent is fulfilling its promise to boost its advertising business as well as give its clients access to a more optimized set of tools. Tencent recently announced a newly formed partnership with mobile marketing analytics platform AppsFlyer. The two companies have created a partnership that would allow app marketers outside of China to access real-time analytics to Tencent Social Ads.

In a statement, Tencent Social Ads product manager Canny Lau said, "In today's increasingly competitive landscape, app marketers need deep insights about the performance of their install campaigns more than ever."
Tencent Social Ads is a platform that allows advertisers to run ad campaigns on Tencent's social networking apps. These include QQ and WeChat which have a combined monthly user activity ranging between 800 million and 899 million.
AppsFlyer will allow international advertising companies to access this massive network of users by opening its platform of campaign metrics. These metrics include, activations, clicks, sessions, in-app purchases, and average revenue per user.
Tencent's recently released a financial report for the second quarter of the year revealing that the company earns around 18 percent of its revenue from advertising. With its new partnership with AppsFlyer, the company's advertising revenue is set to continue to grow. The new partnership also shows just how aggressive Tencent is when it comes to widening its share of the advertising industry.
Tencent's report also revealed that the company's year-to-year revenue from advertising increased by 73 percent. Around 80 percent of this revenue comes from the company's mobile platform.
