Chinese tech manufacturer Elephone is making a name for itself in the smartphone market, but lately the company is also making headways in the smartphone peripherals market with the launch of its newly designed and upgraded ELE Whisper headphones.

With the ELE Whisper, Elephone is trying to combine Hi-Fi technology with superior noise cancellation in order to deliver a highly optimized piece of hardware that will appeal to both regular users and audio enthusiasts.

Elephone said that the ELE Whisper was developed in cooperation with China Aerospace, the latter being responsible for high-end active noise reduction technologies used in aircraft headphones. China Aerospace also has a varied history of dealing with microphones, noise reduction circuit systems and high-fidelity speakers.

Powering the ELE Whisper is a military grade CASC863 chipset from China Aerospace, according to the official Elephone website. On top of the headphones' premium design is the phone's powerful processor which ensures smart noise-cancelling technology.

The Elephone ELE Whisper headphones sport a unique shell design, Giz China revealed.

The internals of the headphones are made from high quality materials to ensure user comfort and premium performance, as they promise excellent sound output, along with unparalleled noise cancellation technology which eliminates disruptive ambient noises and interference.

The headphones have a 24mAh battery pack which should be able to power the device for up to 25 hours. It has a conventional 3.5mm gold plated connectivity plug, and noise reduction of up to 35dB.

The Elephone ELE Whisper with Hi-Fi audio capability is available in two color variants: blue and gray.
