(Photo : Getty Images) The Miami Heat are no longer willing to work on Chris Bosh's return and so rumors that the Cleveland Cavaliers may sign him have emerged.
Chris Bosh reportedly failed his recent physical exam with the Miami Heat which prompted team president Pat Riley to publicly announce that the club is no longer willing to work toward the All-Star power forward's return.
Bosh, 32, prematurely ended the past two seasons because of separate cases of blood clots in his body. He had been taking blood thinners to alleviate his condition, but it has forced the Heat to sideline him because of the risk involved to a player playing a highly physical sport under such medication.

The two-time NBA champion had been vocal all summer that he wants to come back and play for Miami this coming season, but team officials said, particularly Riley, that he will only be allowed to return to active duty upon doctors' orders.
Bosh said his personal doctors had given him the go-signal to play, but the Heat's team doctors have not approved, and so the standoff between the sides ensued.
However, the South Florida South-Sentinel reported that Riley had already announced the final word with regards to Bosh's tenure in Miami, saying that "based on the last exam" the power forward's "Heat career is probably over".
When asked if it was the end of Bosh's NBA career, Riley said "that's up to him", which meant that they are ready to release the 11-time All-Star to a new team if he wants to.
Riley clarified, though, that they had never considered the effect on the salary cap about their dealing with Bosh and have only thought about his health.
"It's pretty definitive from us, in our standpoint, that this is probably going to be a time where we really have to step back," said Riley. "His health, playing, and economics - it's been health, health, health. Whatever the cap ramifications are, they are there, but we never ever thought about that."
Recent rumors have now emerged that Bosh could opt to join one of his best friends, LeBron James, in Cleveland if the Cavs are okay with him playing while taking the blood-thinning meds.
Cleveland.com indicated that such a deal is possible, but that "the real question is, would Bosh consider coming to Cleveland for about $1.6 million when he'll make $22.2 million from the Heat, whether he plays or not?"
The report also said that if the Heat has concerns about Bosh's blood-clot problems, then chances are the Cavs will also be concerned about it as well.
