AMD's answer to the current Nvidia graphics card lineup, the Vega 10, is expected to be launched in November at the SuperComputer Show.

This new architecture is expected to pack enough punch that could help AMD take the graphics card market which it lost to its closest rival.

AMD has yet to officially confirm if it is indeed launching the Vega 10 during the upcoming SuperComputer Show. There could be truth to this speculation, though, since the conference had been used by many tech companies to showcase or stage a major product launch in the past.

It can be noted that the tech community has appeared so sure about the arrival of the new graphics card before the end of the year, and since the SuperComputer Show is one of the major tech conferences towards the end of the year, it could be the venue for te launch.

One major reason cited for launching Vega 10 at the latter part of the year is to make the technology even more possible for mass production early next year, according to iTech Post.

Reports have claimed that Vega 10 will be AMD's first product to support HBM2, or High Bandwidth Memory version 2.

Meanwhile, a leaked presentation from AMD gave the tech community a glimpse of what to expect from the company within the coming years. It seemed that the high-end graphics card model is expected to have 16GB of HBM2 memory.

With all these promising tidbits of information, many are convinced that AMD will finally close the gap, or maybe even pass Nvidia in the graphics card market, also because of the highly-anticipated availability of Vega 10.
