Gionee S6 Pro Smartphone Goes on Sale in India

Chinese smartphone maker Gionee has announced that its latest device - the Gionee S6 Pro smartphone - is currently on sale in India at Rs. 23,999 (around $360 / 2400.68 Yuan). The company is also giving away three months free subscription of Saavn Pro music streaming service to interested buyers.

The Gionee S6 Pro smartphone was launched in China in June. According to Arvind R. Vohra, MD and CEO of Gionee India, the S6 Pro smartphone is a perfect amalgamation of style and performance. Vohra emphasized that the device is designed for the urbane selfie generation.
The Gionee S6 Pro smartphone features a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixel resolution) IPS display screen. The device is powered by MediaTek's Helio P10 processor, which is paired with a massive 4GB of RAM onboard. It comes with 64GB of internal memory storage. On the software side, the smartphone runs on the Android Marshmallow operating system out of the box.
The Gionee S6 Pro sports a 13-megapixels main shooter and an 8-megapixels front facing camera. The smartphone is fueled by a 3,130 mAh capacity battery inside. Other features of the device offers include a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The device is available in gold and rose gold color.
Gionee has also released its first virtual reality headset in India. The device carries a price tag of INR 2,499 (approximately $38 / 253.40 Yuan).
