Bayern Munich striker and captain of the Polish national squad Robert Lewandowski has expressed confidence in former Borussia Dortmund manager and current Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp. Lewandowski said that despite Klopp's cheerful demeanor, he is "ruthless."

Lewandowski said that with Klopp at the helm of the Liverpool, the squad has a good chance of winning the Premier League title this season.

According to the Mirror, Lewandowski said, "Under Klopp, I think Liverpool will be fighting for the title this season."

Lewandowski and Klopp worked together in German club Borussia Dortmund. During Klopp's stint with Dortmund, the club was able to win back-to-back titles.

Under Klopp's guidance, Lewandowski scored 74 Bundesliga goals in 131 appearances for Borussia Dortmund. After his stint with BVB, Lewandowski transferred to Bayern Munich.

On Sunday, Tottenham beat Manchester City in an impressive display of skill. This made Tottenham the only undefeated squad in the Premier League.

On the other hand, Klopp's Liverpool currently sits in the fourth spot with 16 points following its win against Swansea on Sunday. The win extended the squad's winning streak to four-straight games.

Despite being undefeated, Tottenham had two draws under its belt which pulled down its overall points to 17. On top of the Premier League table is Manchester City with 18 points. Arsenal, which had a five-game winning streak, is at the third spot with 16 points, beating Liverpool in goal difference.
