While LeEco is a relatively new brand in the US, the company has fared well in China, its home country. Formerly known as LeTV, the company has become one of the largest online video providers in the mainland, thus, the nickname "Netflix of China."
Based on the leaked poster, LeEco is planning to launch two smartphones in the US - the Le Max 2 and Le S3. These two smartphones are not entirely new or exclusive products.
According to Digital Trends, the Le Max 2 was announced in April and sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset with memory configuration available in two variants: 4GB or 6GB options. The phone has a 5.7-inch display with Quad HD resolution.
It is also packed with a 21-megapixel rear camera and a 3100mAh battery pack. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and expected to have a price tag of around $349.
Meanwhile, the Le S3 has a 5.5-inch display with Full HD resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chipset, 3GB memory, fingerprint scanner and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow as well. The phone is said to be priced around $239.
Aside from smartphones, the leaked information also confirmed that LeEco is planning to release 4K TV sets. Four were confirmed to be slated during the Oct. 19 launch and these are the LeEco Super4 X43 Pro, LeEco Super4 X55, LeEco Super 4 X65 and the LeEco uMax85.
