Game of Thrones' khaleesi Emilia Clarke will be joining the Star Wars universe in a still yet-to-be-named Han Solo standalone movie.

No beefy details have been released yet as to what character GOT's Mother of Dragons will be portraying in this Solo spinoff. However, the Wired noted that she will be part of a "dynamic cast of characters that Han and Chewie will encounter on their adventures."

While there are totally zero details on Clarke's character, Deadline hinted that Han Solo's backstory was previously covered in a trilogy of Star Wars Expanded Universe novels published in the late 1990s. The story included Solo's doomed romance with a rebel spy. However, after Disney bought Lucas Film in 2012, the Star Wars Expanded Universe has been removed from the official canon.

Joining Clarke, who is best known as Daenerys Targaryen on the HBO series, are Hail Caesar's breakout star Alden Ehrenreich and Community and Atlanta star Donald Glover. Ehrenreich will play as the young smuggler Han Solo, while Glover will be donning a cape to play the role of Solo's gambling frenemy Lando Clarissian.

The film, which will be directed by Lego Movies' Phil Lord and Chris Miller, is set before Solo's meeting with Obi-Wan Kenobi and Luke Skywalker in the Mos Eisley cantina in Star Wars: A New Hope, according to the Deadline.

Fans speculate that the story will also explore how Solo and Chewbacca ended up as comrades and how Solo won the starship Millennium Falcon from Calrissian in a card game.

The still untitled Solo origin movie will be the next stand alone for Lucas Film after Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which is scheduled to be released next month.

The Han Solo origin movie is set to be released in 2018, between 2017's episode VIII and 2019's episode IX.
