Shortly after notable tipster Evan Blass leaked information about the LG G Pad III 10.1 FHD LTE Tablet, the South Korean tech giant promptly released the device. As the name suggests, the LG G Pad III sports a 10.1-inch display with 1920x1200 resolution and support for LTE connectivity.
At the heart of the new LG G Pad III is an octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. It has 2GB of memory and 32GB of storage space. Both its front and rear facing cameras have 5-megapixel sensors, according to Android Headlines.

The LG G Pad III has a 6,000mAh battery pack and LG was able to cram all these specs into a device that measures 256.2mm x 167.9mm x 6.7mm and weighs 510 grams. The tablet is expected to run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, according to GSM Arena. LG is yet to confirm whether the tablet will receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update in the future.
One impressive design cue that LG made on its new tablet is the built-in kick stand, which allows the tablet to stand on its own up to 70 degrees of adjustment. This stand makes the tablet ideal for multimedia purposes and tasks that require both hands to operate.
The LG G Pad III is exclusively available in South Korea for $360. LG said that the device with a stylus pen will be released early next year, most probably at the 2017 Consumer Electronics Show in January. The company is yet to confirm whether the tablet will be released in other regions.
